According to People.com, Blake Lively's and Ryan Reynolds' wedding ceremony was held on September 9th, but the couple was not legally married until September 14th.

We last reported that the two were officially married on September 9th.That doesn't seem to be the case. The secret ceremony was reportedly "a dress rehearsal" for the real wedding.

According to documents, provided by the Charleston County Probate Court,Ryan Rodney Reynolds and Blake Ellender Lively applied for their license September 13 and their marriage date is shown as September 14.

The law demands that there be a day wait before filing the paperwork for a marriage license and the issuing of the license.

The cake maker for the couple said:

"For us, we were simply working for a client like we always do," a rep for the Alexandria, Va.-based cake decorator Maggie Austin Cake told PEOPLE. "We are surprised and delighted that we were able to work with them."

Upon arriving to  the nuptials, the attendees were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements.

The people included the parents of the children's choir from the local First Baptist Church, who performed during the ceremony. Cell phones were also taken from any guests before being returned after the event.
