Small Bite: Martin O’Malley says “Yes, We Can” blame GOP for job losses.

Full Platter:

When it comes to unemployment, the governor of Maryland says "Yes, we can" still put the blame on the GOP for its high rates.

Governor Martin O'Malley was reportedly asked if Democrats can continue to point the finger at Republicans for the 17 percent of unemployed among young Americans, in which he was not shy to say, actually, we can. He went on to add,

"Because more jobs were created in the private sector last year alone than in all eight years of George W. Bush. Look, we did not get into the economic problems we did because President Obama was in office for two months. The ground was laid by the bad policies of George W. Bush, and that came at the expense of the growing middle class and giving huge tax breaks to the billionaires."

The Huffington Post reports that voters indeed still do blame Bush rather than Obama for the nation's economic difficulties.
