She first helped a woman who was struggling with her car, Rosie O’Donnell said. Then, it turns out she was the one who started struggling.
Rosie says that on Tuesday of last week, she heard an enormous woman screaming in a car and really exerted herself helping out the woman.
A few hours later, Rosie said, she became nauseous, her skin turned clammy, and–having a suspicion she may be experiencing a heart attack–she Googled the symptoms. The next day, she visited the hospital and the doctors discovered that one of her arteries was 99% blocked!
“I am lucky to be here,” Rosie wrote on her blog Monday.
Truthfully, she is. Many would have died in that same scenario. Please, if you experience severe symptoms: do not prioritize Google. Call 911 immediately and get yourself to a hospital.
According to CNN:
“After a Google search suggested she was having a heart attack, O’Donnell said she took Bayer Aspirin, but did not call 911.
The next day, she said her doctor informed her that her “LAD was 99% blocked.”
“Know the symptoms ladies/listen to the voice inside/the one we all so easily ignore,” [Rosie] wrote.”
