Is this a sign that Rihanna needs to chill with that YOLO mentality? Has she gone too far? To the point where possibly no more labels will want to use her as their cover girl?
It has been reported that Nivea has decided not to re-sign RiRi to their brand because she no longer fits their image. Ouch. Granted, she’s a young international rockstar, a little carefree, party girl action never hurt nobody right? Well, Nivea doesn’t think so.
Yesterday, Stefan Heidenreich, the head of Nivea’s parent company Beiersdorf issued a statement to German Media and said: “Rihanna is a no go. I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability.”
So how did Rihanna respond to the news? She expressed her thoughts on Twitter and posted a picture of Heidenreich and wrote “No caption necessary.”
