The tragic story of Usher's step-son and his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond's son, Kyle Glover, gripped us--from the fact that a man riding a jet ski struck Kyle in the head, to reports that Kyle had been declared brain dead.

Now, the man who was riding the jet ski is being investigated. And, apparently, he's a family friend. His name is Jeffrey S. Hubbard of Atlanta, and he's a 38-year-old.

Investigators do not believe that this family friend was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when riding the jet ski, nor do they believe that a mechanical malfunction was involved--according to reports.
