We can't help but feel sympathetic towards Rihanna during this time. There has been so much going on in her life the past few weeks that we can only imagine how overwhelmed she must be feeling. The most difficult of circumstances for her lately though has to be the passing of her Gran Gran (grandmother) Dolly.

Rihanna's beloved grandmother was laid to rest Friday July 6, 2012 and the grief-stricken pop-star was seen looking very somber in pictures taken at the funeral. In her bereavement, it seems as though Rihanna has found a new outlook on life as she reportedly, wrote the following caption on a picture she posted to Instagram: "Ima try to be a good girl now...#DearDolly".

It's circumstances like this that remind us, fame and all, that celebrities are just as human as any of us and experience joy and sadness all the same too.
