R.Kelly has recently cancelled a list of events he was scheduled to appear at due to a health complication. According to R.Kelly's reps, "Initial indications are that he is suffering from complications from surgery he had last year to treat an abscess on his vocal cords."

He has canceled a book launch event in New York already, as well as the "Jimmy Fallon Show" and an appearance on the "Today" show on the NBC network. It is still unclear as to how long he will be "sidelined" for.
