Small Bite: New reality show is set to hit the scene. “The Real Mistresses of Atlanta”… how original.

Full Platter:

Okay, okay... this is starting to get a little out of hand. What's next? "The Real Hoodrats of Atlanta"?

Yet again another reality show that displays black women in a terrible light is being shopped around for a network to call home. Produced by Memphitz, K. Michelle's allegedly abusive ex-boyfriend, "The Real Mistresses of Atlanta"  will focus on 4 women and one man in the entertainment industry that take pride in being the "lover" on the sidelines. Classy huh?

Don't believe us? Check out the trailer here.

After watching the trailer we think it's safe to say that this isn't about chronicling the thoughts and point of view of a mistress. This is clearly for views and ratings, brought about by ratchet behavior. As if a certain T.V. Network doesn't do this already.

Don't we think Atlanta has been disgraced enough with all of these reality T.V. shows? If not Atlanta, what about the black woman's image? Is it too much to ask for us to do a little better?

Share your thoughts down below, we'd love to hear what you have to say!
