The legacy of Whitney Houston will live on at the 2012 BET Awards, thanks to her gospel singer mother Cissy Houston. Along with a "few top divas," Cissy Houston is booked for a fabulous performance, reports AceShowBiz. Other musical guests at the show include Usher, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj. Can you imagine these stars standing on stage next to Cissy? What an awesome mix of performers!
On July 1st, the 2012 BET Awards will air live from the Srine Auditorium in Los Angeles--we'll get to check out Cissy's live performance skills. She's the mother of "I'll Always Love You" singer, after all! Whitney, who sadly passed away at the age of 48, will be honored by her family, friends and thousands of fans.
