Just recently, The View host, Sherri Shepherd was the target of some nasty, disturbing, and unnecessary tweet threats from a particular user who was unhappy about the comments she made on the show in regards to Lil' Kim. It began with a tweet beef between Sherri and @DaCloneKiller, who had been deliberately harassing her and Sherri decided enough was enough once the anonymous user said, “Somebody should drag u in a back alley and rape you.” WOW. Speechless.
She took legal action by filing a police report, and responded, "“@DaCloneKiller You think I should be raped in a back alley?” she tweeted. “Let’s see if the police agree w you & I took a pic of your tweet…I’M FILING A POLICE REPORT. SO TELL ME NOW WHAT SHOULD BE DONE W ME.”
She also added, "I’m tired of folk thinking they can hide behind a celeb Avi & type anything they want to you w/o consequences b/c they can’t be seen COWARDS...I’m not a little 19 year olds… I’m a grown @%$ woman… seriously you want to threaten me? I’m on my way to the police @DaCloneKiller.”
But of course, like any typical HATER who doesn't know when to stop, @DaCloneKiller continued this tweef by responding "#DeadBitchesDontTalk"
Sherri continues to voice her opinions against cyber bulling and even challenges Twitter to take some action against the harassment as well. It seems Twitter has been hitting the rocks lately with all of this online bullying that has escalated into real violence. We're glad and we greatly respect Sherri for taking a stand. Remember the Ohio teen who was filmed brutally fighting another girl after what started as Twitter beef? SMH. When does it end?
