Lee Daniels' upcoming film, 'The Paperboy,' stars Nicole Kidman, and was shown at Cannes Film Festival. The film was slammed with a ton of negative reviews.

Actress Michelle Rodriguez, on the contrary, loved the film. She especially loved Nicole Kidman's performance in the film as a "wacko, white trash, slut," as Shadow & Act reports, but she insisted that Kidman has no chance of winning or being nominated for an Oscar for her role, BECAUSE, get this: you need to be "trashy and black" to get nominated for an Oscar. *blank stare*

Here are Michelle's exact words below:

"I f---g loved it. One of my friends said, '[Nicole Kidman's] going to get nominated for an Oscar for that.' I was like, 'Nah, man. She’s not black!' I laugh, but it’s also very sad. It makes me want to cry. But I really believe. You have to be trashy and black to get nominated. You can’t just be trashy."
