Managing editor of Essence Magazine, Michael Bullerdick, was recently exposed for a chain of racist posts on his Facebook wall. Apparently a "friend" of his on FB took a screenshot of his private page's posts and sent it to Journal-isms. When the magazine caught wind of this the grits hit the fan.
Essence's Editor-In-Chief, Constance P. White, expressed her apologies for this and has assured her readers that he in no way is a part of the "creative" aspect of the magazine, instead only oversees production. Bullerdick resigned and has since accepted another position within the division.
I just have one thing to say about this: Be careful about those statuses and tweets Mr. Bullerdick. You should have learned this in "How NOT to Get Fired 101". SMH.
