The passing of a child is difficult for any mother, as Cissy Houston, mother of the legendary Whitney Houston, has come to know.
Singer Whitney's death at a tender age of 48 rocked the nation in February of 2012. Her funeral was televised, and many watched in awe of a superstar's life lost to drugs.
Asked whether the loss of Whitney to drugs made her feel bad about her parenting skills, Cissy said that she knows she did the best she could when it came to Whitney.
